B2B Travel Department Manager


Holiday Systems International (HSI) is a technology company, a travel aggregator and a private client service company providing a wide variety of exclusive benefits to a niche market of select international clientele. Founded in 1993, HSI is a fast-paced rapidly growing industry leader.


Responsible for managing and growing a dynamic, fast-paced B2B department for an international travel industry software development company and travel aggregator. Primary focus is to increase product/service distribution channels for B2B travel products and travel technology solutions while managing the department and existing clients to maximize revenue. Travel industry experience and established B2B contacts are mandatory. This is a hands-on career opportunity for a hard-working and ambitious professional that expects to be judged and rewarded based on results. Opportunity for advancement is virtually limitless. Position reports directly to Operations Management and President.


  • New Business Development:
  • o Identify viable target clients, sourcing relevant data as necessary
  • o Utilize effective tools and techniques for managing pipeline and contacting prospects, including CRM systems, leveraging pre-employment relationships, cold calling, networking, etc.
  • o Close new accounts utilizing Internet screen sharing presentations, conference calls, in-person meetings, etc.
  • o Execute contracts
  • o Quickly achieve high-level and detailed knowledge of our products/services, our competition, and opportunities
  • Account/Department Management:
  • o Managing outbound and inbound client contact to ensure consistency in exceptional service
  • o Process B2B travel reservations
  • o Monitor/analyze all client activity to ensure maximum client activity, client retention, contract compliance, cross-selling/up-selling opportunities, and red flags
  • General:
  • o Write/enhance call scripts
  • o Create/enhance sales/marketing pieces
  • o Maintain a finger on industry pulse
  • o Maintain keen understanding of competitive tools for ongoing SWOT analysis
  • o Conduct calls, meetings, and presentations in a polished, professional manner
  • o Technology quality control
  • o Enhancement suggestions, implementation, and results tracking
  • o Timely prioritize, communicate, and follow up


  • Confident, intelligent, well-spoken professional, comfortable speaking in all settings and with all levels of leadership, B2B staff, clientele, and prospects
  • Existing travel industry experience and relationships, and general technology aptitude
  • Demonstrable ability to quickly and profitably develop effective relationships and partnerships
  • Proven closing ability
  • Ability to travel to tradeshows as needed
  • Above-average written skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and phone voice
  • Proactive problem-solver
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of business tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

  • High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the Travel Industry
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a B2B environment preferably in the Travel Industry
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales & marketing experience preferably in B2B
